I have a few pair of DUER (performance) jeans but these definitely are on the heavier side, but that's what I got these for. The membrane definitely does help with keeping wind and water out and feels more rugged than my other DUER jeans; this membrane may also be the reason these are a bit more snug fitting due to the extra material . Nonetheless these do stretch as well as my other pants and are really comfortable to wear.

Love all my duer jeans and these are what I put on for the cold rainy days to stay warm and dry. Haven’t tried them or been caught in a downpour. Comfortable and good looking. A bit on the larger size for waist.
