The Production and Quality Coordinator is a key point of contact with all vendors, coordinating the placement, execution, and follow-up of production orders to drive on-time delivery, quality, and profitability of our finished goods. 



  • Based on input from planning, work with vendors to reserve production capacity and ensure supply of raw material will be on-hand to meet production requirements
  • Track commitments of raw materials and liabilities
  • Place purchase orders with vendors, update as needed, ensure accurate costing and delivery dates maintained on all orders
  • Track WIP from hand-off to final deliveries
  • Work with vendors to arrange delivery of products and coordinate the inbound shipping
  • Work closely with product team to support sampling process through the product development cycle (i.e., Proto Sample to Size Set Sample and Salesman samples), and oversee communication for any special testing, shipping, and sampling needs for specific customers.
  • Provide technical support for the on-boarding of new suppliers to ensure adherence to standards, policies.
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on on-time delivery, lead times, quality, fulfilment.
  • Maintain a supplier scorecard and review performance monthly to drive actions and follow-up around KPIs to ensure all vendors are meeting key milestones for sampling, production and quality, on-time and on spec.



  • Work closely with the product team and vendors to ensure all products meet our defined quality standards, and to update and maintain vendor manuals as needed.
  • Coordinate 3rd party in-line and finished goods quality testing in partnership with all vendors.
  • Review quality audit reports for acceptance prior to shipping and track compliance in shipping only acceptable goods.
  • Perform quality inspections of goods upon receipt at warehouse, as needed. This includes validating compliance with tech packs and taking measurements.

  • Have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within apparel, working with off-shore vendors
