Your old non-DUER denim is falling apart, so time to upgrade for something that feels better and lasts longer. DUER is more durable because of the high quantities of COOLMAX and Lycra, which means you can wear them harder for longer.
When you donate a pair of gently used denim at our Vancouver Flagship Store (118 W. Hastings St.) between June 11th to 30th you’ll receive $25 off your in-store purchase*. All gently used denim will be donated to Vancouver’s Covenant House to clothe homeless youth on the Downtown Eastside. Don’t worry, we accept jeans in all shapes and sizes. Just bring em’ in.
PARTNERING WITH COVENANT HOUSE VANCOUVER
We want to give back to the city where we started, and doing so hyper-locally. With our HQ and Flagship Store standing in the core of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES), we knew that supporting a cause in our neighbourhood would be the most important factor in giving back to our community.
By partnering with the Covenant House Vancouver, we’re able to donate all gently used jeans to support and clothe street youth in need, ranging from ages 16-24. The majority of these youth have experienced physical, sexual and/or emotional abuse, often at the hands of the adults that were responsible for taking care of them.
After items are handed over for donation, the Covenant House Vancouver washes all goods and sizes them to be put into the donations closet for youth in need. Youth may also visit their drop-in space that is regularly stocked with items like socks, pants, underwear, and shirts. From there, the youth can access anything they may require at their own convenience.
