Equal parts analytical and strategic, you like to dive into the numbers and but also thrive in communicating the stories the data tells. The Successful Candidate will be involved in demand and supply planning functions and have the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain demand plans at SKU level by season and period, owning accuracy of plans – including owning size curves to translate season/style forecasts into plans by SKU and period and updates based on input from sales channels
  • Work closely with other members of the planning team to monitor product availability and track planning factors influencing in-stock levels with the objectives of improving service to customers
  • Participate in requirement gathering and implementation of future planning tool including vendor selection and testing
  • Translate demand plans into purchase plans based on production lead times, production capacity, and inventory levels
  • Provide production team with future purchase plans to support planning for appropriate raw material inventory
  • Partner with operations team to ensure timely placement of purchase orders
  • Partner with operations team to monitor actual delivery (RFD) against requested delivery and ensure appropriate production leads times are negotiated and built into future plans
  • Provide transparency and continuous improvement on inventory positions.

 

Based out of Vancouver and reporting into the Planning Manager, the right candidate will:

  • Have strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically
  • Be highly organized and able to successfully manage processes across teams and projects while maintaining a sharp focus on high priority projects
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate complex information clearly and concisely to varied audience

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in math, economics, statistics, business management or equivalent
  • 2+ years in a similar role scaling similar brands, DTC experience preferred
