The diagonal zippered pocket is terrific for cell phones. The fit is a little looser (in a good way) in the thighs but still with a little bit of stretch, so they're good for hiking.

These are very comfortable shorts for hiking and walking about. The fit is slightly looser than Live Lite Journey pants. Good pockets. Covers more of the thigh than other Duer shorts. Recommend highly.
