As other reviews suggest you should size down. I haven't washed mine yet but one to two sizes down seems like it would be perfect.
These are warm and stretchy without looking thick and puffy on your body. So glad I made the purchase. Will be ordering another color!

These are great winter jeans!
These jeans fit well and are very warm and water resistent.
I wkre them on a river trip and they kept me cozy in camp!
Now that the summer heat had arrived I put them away until fall.
For reference I am 63 YO, 5’7” tall 147 lbs. the size 28 waist is a comfy fit. I have a straight build.
The 29s are good but fit looser.
These jeans wash well and are worth the investment, ( i got my last pair on sale)
